We are very excited to present an incredible program of martial arts events in Okinawa which will explore the Chinese origins, meaning and applications of the “Bubishi” the so-called “bible of karate” which has been studied and treasured in Okinawa for centuries.

This event is held on November 6th and 7th 2026 in Okinawa, Japan. You are warmly invited to attend regardless of your level of experience or style of martial arts. But this event should be of great interest and value to any martial artist studying Chinese, Okinawan and Japanese martial arts. We are sure that you will benefit from a deeper historical understanding AND a hands-on practical knowledge of the applications therein.

Learn the fundamentals of Praying Mantis Kung Fu, including body mechanics, striking principles, and partner drills with practical applications for karate.
② Chen-style Taijiquan
Instructor: Sakano Yutaka
Develop whole-body power through the fundamental movements and applications of Chen-style Taijiquan.

Learn through foundational exercises, including Qing Shen Bu, to develop body mechanics, internal power, and efficient movement.
② Beginner White Crane Fist (Sanchin)
Instructor: Hong Furen
Learn the Sanchin (Three Battles) form and breathing methods of White Crane Fist, whose principles profoundly influenced Okinawan karate.

① Intermediate Mantis Boxing (Practical Applications)
Instructor: John Eusebio
Learn advanced Mantis Boxing combinations, including joint locks, throws, and continuous fighting techniques, with practical applications for karate kata bunkai.
② Chen-style Taijiquan
Instructor: Sakano Yutaka
Develop whole-body power through the fundamental movements and applications of Chen-style Taijiquan.
